Whistleblowing

It stands for transparent and inclusive decision-making, for building and maintaining trust, for empowering our partners, for giving space to diverse voices, and for delivery of the highest quality. It holds us to ethical standards of integrity, collegiality and respect in all our professional interactions.

SEI’s ethical practice has as a minimum requirement to avoid harm while aiming to enhance human well-being and ensure we maintain the highest possible quality and integrity in our work. It also provides for an open and constructive space for dialogue and sharing of perspectives.

Reporting misconduct

SEI strongly encourages all that interact with us such as employees, contractors, partners and other stakeholders to report on eventual misconduct as soon as it has occurred. It is important to us that we receive the information as soon as possible so that we can take immediate action.

As a whistleblower, you will remain anonymous throughout the entire process

Our aim is that all people who interact with us are treated respectfully. Your voice is important for us to succeed.

When can you use the whistleblowing service?

SEI’s whistleblowing service is designed for (but is not limited to) reporting of suspicions of serious irregularities relating to;

  • accounting, internal accounting control, auditing, bribery, banking and financial crime
  • serious environmental crimes
  • major workplace safety deficiencies
  • very serious forms of discrimination and harassment.

For questions concerning dissatisfaction in the workplace, please contact your immediate line manager, HR or Global Employee Representative.

Whistleblowers do not need to have evidence to report their suspicion. However, no accusations may be made with malicious intent or with the knowledge that the accusation is false.

Your message will be securely handled

The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure anonymity. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected.

All messages will be processed in confidence.
