This is a scientific workshop aimed at reaching a common understanding of the science, and communicating this science to all parties, including decision makers. An external panel of scientific experts will review material presented by scientists whose research and expertise has contributed to our understanding of the ecosystem. There will be questions and answer sessions.  For information on the Sustainable Ecosystem Institute Process and Approach please see http://sei.org and for an example please read “Reducing Risk and Uncertainty” available at http://www.sei.org/riskunc.html
