Tööriistakast lihtsustab süsteemse abivahendite kogumina kestliku ja kvaliteetse ruumi planeerimist Eestis, kuna toetab planeerijaid kestlikkuse aspektide kaalutlemisel, aitab ühtlustada planeeringute taset ja tagab tasanditevahelise sidususe. Projekti eesmärk on analüüsida parimaid praktikaid ja Eesti ekspertide vajadusi, et arendada välja süsteemne abivahendite kogum ehk kestliku ja kvaliteetse ruumi planeerimise tööriistakasti esimene baasversioon. Tööriistakast lihtsustab süsteemse abivahendite kogumina kestliku ja kvaliteetse ruumi planeerimist Eestis, kuna toetab planeerijaid kestlikkuse aspektide kaalutlemisel, aitab ühtlustada planeeringute taset ja tagab tasanditevahelise sidususe.
