Mai was a Tufts Institute for the Environment (TIE)/ Water Program Intern at SEI’s US Center, and is a dual-degree Economics and Public Policy PhD student at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. She expects to complete her studies in June 2024.
Mai earned her MS in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and her BS in Banking and Finance from the University of London. Prior to Tufts, Mai worked at a number of institutions, including the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), New York University (NYU), LSE Middle East Centre and The Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST).
Mai’s research interests span development economics, and the water, energy, food nexus, in general.
