Maja worked together with Åsa Swartling and Johanna Ulmanen on a Forestry Case study of the Mistra -SWECIA program, with a focus on data follow-up interviews and data analysis towards the finilizing of the first program phase.

Her background is in public administration, sustainable development and international development. She recieved her M.Sc. in Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam in 2010. Her master’s project was on the local outcomes of carbon forestry projects in Cameroon.
