Max Dorman is an Equitable Transitions Program Intern working out of the Boston office at SEI US. He is working on the fossil fuel infrastructure and biodiversity project, conducting spatial analysis, communicating with project partners, and contextualizing findings.
Max is also a Master of Science in Sustainability candidate at Tufts University in the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. He anticipates graduating in August 2021.
Max’s professional interests include: climate justice; climate mitigation and adaptation policy; modalities of public involvement in environmental policy design processes; climate finance; and NGO work in Asia. Some of his past research projects include carbon counting in environmental impact statements, stakeholder engagement in subnational mitigation policy, and NGO resilience planning in the Himalayas of Nepal.
Max received his Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Maine.
