The six module course was compiled by a team of international air pollution specialists and was produced as part of an EU funded Clean Air Training Programme for the less developed countries of Asia.

The course is aimed at enhancing the capacity of cities, government agencies, academic organisations and non-governmental organisations in Asia to address the problem of deteriorating air quality.

The course consists of six modules – Urban air pollution in Asia, Emissions, Modelling, Monitoring, Impacts, Governance and policies. By working through the six modules the student will gradually achieve a higher level of understanding of air pollution and the measures taken to monitor air quality to prevent and control urban air pollution.
