<title>Lessons from oil and gas transitions in the North Sea</title>
					<link>https://www.sei.org/publications/lessons-oil-gas-transitions-north-sea/</link>
<description>This report considers how the three North Sea oil- and gas-producing countries of Denmark, Norway and the UK can move towards pathways compatible with climate goals and a just transition. It shows that governments have adjusted approaches that favour of the fossil fuel industry in response to declining North Sea extraction and to the economic impacts of the pandemic and Russian invasion of Ukraine. The authors argue that governments should play a central role in phasing out fossil fuels.</description>
