Chris Calderon is a Water Resources Analyst with the SEI US Water Program. He works on water resources modeling and planning in California using SEI’s Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) software. Outside his home state, Chris combats water resources, social and environmental justice issues internationally through programs including the Bolivia WATCH project.
Prior to joining SEI in July 2021, Chris worked as a Research Assistant analyzing harmful algal blooms in Clear Lake, and as Publicity Chair for Engineers Without Borders at University of California, Davis. Through these positions, Chris performed water quality analysis, studied complex water quality relationships in a large natural system, gained leadership skills and fundraising experience, and practiced using engineering solutions for international sustainable development.
For his undergraduate degree, Chris attended the University of California, Davis, earning a B.S in Environmental Engineering with a focus on water resources.
