Manish Shrestha is a Research Associate at SEI Asia.
Prior to joining SEI, he worked at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) as a researcher responsible for projects related to climate and was involved in hydrology modeling workshops and trainings. Before joining AIT, Manish was an intern with the Interdisciplinary Research Center for River Basin Environment, University of Yamanashi (ICRE-UY) in Japan and as an engineer in Nepal.
His key areas of interest includes hydrological and hydraulic modeling, climate change, water induced disaster and management, land use analysis and GIS based studies. He has published several peer reviewed journal articles on climate and hydrological modeling.
Manish holds a Master’s Degree in Water Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
