Molly Burd is a Communications Project Manager at SEI Headquarters – Global Communications and Branding Division.
Molly leads the coordination of communications teams and projects. She also supports the maintenance of SEI’s brand, including leading the strategy of SEI’s global social media.
She recently led a three-year project in partnership with the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development to create a concise, practical guide called ‘Our common home’, which blended messages of science and faith to build environmental awareness and to inspire action in Catholic communities.
Molly joined SEI in 2021 as a Digital Coordinator, where she had been responsible for the curation and maintenance of SEI’s global social media channels, and supporting SEI events. During this time, she worked on the communications for the Stockholm+50 Scientific and Youth Report in partnership with the Council of Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW).
Prior to joining SEI, Molly worked as an account manager for a healthcare communications agency, coordinating digital communications for clients in the pharmaceutical industry. She also managed the company’s strategic content marketing activities across its digital channels.
Molly has a professional background in medical writing and copywriting after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Manchester.
