Nina Wright is a first-year graduate student at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, pursuing a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with concentrations in Comparative and Regional Studies and Human Security and Humanitarian Affairs. With a background spanning human rights research, the nonprofit sector, and academia, she brings a genuine passion for advancing equitable, evidence-based solutions to global challenges.
Before joining SEI, Nina spent three years at Harvard University’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, where she supported administrative functions, database management, and development. She has also contributed to organizations, including the Human Rights Measurement Initiative and the Traverse Project, where she translated human rights data and drafted grant proposals.
Nina holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Human Rights from the University of Connecticut, with minors in Gender Studies and French. She is fluent in Russian and English and also speaks advanced French.
Outside of work, Nina loves trying out new recipes and watching movies. She is excited to bring her development experience and regional expertise to SEI’s mission of driving environmental sustainability worldwide.
