Philbert is the Finance and Administration Manager at SEI Africa.

Joining the team in May 2022, his role is to oversee the financial and administrative management at the centre and provide support on human resource management.  Philbert has over 10 years of experience in Project Management, Financial Management, and Audit.

He previously served as a Finance Manager at The Network of African Science Academies (NASAC) where he oversaw financial processing and reporting to various donors. He has also worked in the banking sector where he participated in financial processing and reporting. He is passionate about sustainable development in the African continent and looks forward to making meaningful contributions to Africa’s science space.

Philbert has a Masters degree in Business Administration in Finance (MBA-Finance) from the University of Nairobi and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts, from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
