The three-page section, titled “Integrating data to connect consumers to their impacts”, looks at how innovative research is weaving together data from very different sources to illuminate the dynamics and interdependencies of production-to-consumption systems.

In doing so, it breaks down research into the systems into three steps: Assessing impacts on biodiversity; linking production and consumption; and Linking supply chains to consumer demand.

It highlights innovative work being done by SEI and others to explore and connect these steps.
