SEI and Stockholm University are creating new research collaborations

This partnering workshop is organized to create new research ideas and deepening the collaboration between SEI and Stockholm University on key topics of joint interest.

The workshop is open to employees and PhD and master’s students from all departments and centers at Stockholm University and for all divisions and centres at SEI. The workshop will be held in-person at Stockholm University.

This collaboration effort is led by Somya Joshi, SEI Head of Division – Global Agendas, Climate and Systems and Professors Alasdair Skelton, Professor Lisa Dellmuth and Matilda Baraibar from Stockholm University.

Researchers from SEI and Stockholm University are invited to give 5 minute “speed talks” about their research interests. These talks will be followed by a brainstorming session with the purpose of finding research partners.

Strengthening relationships

The aim of this event is to strengthen the relation between SEI and Stockholm University by creating a platform from which further collaboration can be developed in research areas where SEI and Stockholm University have common interests.

After the partnering workshop, participants are encouraged to write proposals for seed funds which can be used for any activity that aims to build or reinforce research partnerships between SEI and Stockholm University. We strive to de-emphasize siloed research perspectives by fostering perspectives and approaches crossing academic borders.
