José Vega Barbero worked at SEI York as a Research Associate between 2013-2016.
He was involved with two European-funded projects: SmartMove, an IEE project that focuses at increasing people’s awareness and use of public transport in rural and suburban areas in Europe through active mobility consultancy campaigns with focus on feeder systems, and ENSPOL, another IEE project that deals with the implementation of Energy Saving Policies and Energy Efficiency Obligation Schemes across Europe.
He also collaborated with companies and assisted them in their transition towards the green economy by mapping their supply chains and identifying potential hotspots that lead to reduce their environmental footprint.
