Kaur-Markus Mirka joined SEI Tallinn in October 2026 as a Junior Expert in the Sustainable Cities and Resilient Communities Unit.
His main interests are spatial planning and sustainable mobility, particularly in Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), active mobility, participatory planning and innovative approaches to mobility planning. His interests span strategic spatial planning and urban planning, with an emphasis on resilient and sustainable urban and regional development.
Kaur holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Geography and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography from the University of Tartu.
