Wendi Jiang

Wendi Jiang is an analyst in the Water Program at the SEI US office in Davis, California. He is tasked with managing geodatabases in Google Earth Engine and QGIS, matching symbology and data structure between platforms, and suggesting layers or data for exclusion.

Wendi is a recent graduate from UC Davis with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and management, having participated in academic research in the fields of transportation studies and environmental science. He also plans to pursue a master’s degree in Transportation Technology and Policy, with a research focus on bicycle infrastructure and public transit.

Wendi identifies as a geographer and geospatial scientist, with a wide range of interests including world history, astronomy, cycling, music and culinary arts.
