This panel brings together leading standards bodies, scientific data networks, research institutions and government experts to examine how interoperability, sustainable AI and digital transformation can strengthen environmental action.

Environmental fallout across the value chain of AI: a call for global governance (Summit event)

SEI will convene a thematic deep dive where high-level experts from relevant industries, multilateral governance actors who shape policy and resolutions, legislative and regulatory experts, as well as scientific experts will meet at the crossroads of sustainable AI.

Women’s Environment Assembly (WEA)/Women’s Major Group (Pre-summit event; major groups)

Official launch of the GEO-7 report

The seventh edition of the UN Environment Programme’s Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7) is the product of 287 multidisciplinary scientists from 82 countries and is the most comprehensive scientific environmental assessment ever carried out. SEI researchers Amy Molotoks and Katie Noble contributed to the report as GEO-7 fellows.
