Jacinta W. Muruanjama is a fundraising, project management, MEAL, and research specialist with extensive experience across humanitarian and development contexts. Her work focuses on evidence-based programming, policy-relevant research, and the design and delivery of interventions for vulnerable and at-risk populations, particularly children and youth. She has supported and implemented programmes in Kenya in collaboration with organizations such as Terres des hommes Foundation and UN-IOM, contributing to areas including child protection, safeguarding, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), nutrition, migration programming, and community-based interventions.
Jacinta brings strong technical expertise in fundraising and grants management, proposal development and budgeting, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL), donor compliance and reporting, and technical writing. She has contributed to research studies, needs and situation assessments, baseline surveys, and the development of technical guidelines, working effectively with diverse stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
She holds a Master of Science in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field, providing a strong academic foundation in policy analysis, programme design, and applied research.
