Lawrence Nzuve has over 10 years of experience in Strategic Communication and Advocacy with a specialty in science journalism and communication.
Prior to joining SEI, Lawrence worked as a Communications and Outreach Officer with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Africa Office, where he worked with the Regional Communications and Outreach Officer in providing the communication needs for the office. Lawrence also worked as a Communication and External Relations Assistant supporting in external communication for the Blue Economy Conference with UNDP in Nairobi, Kenya, as an Editorial and Digital Communications Officer, Bureau for External Relations and Advocacy for UNDP Global Office in New York, and as a communications assistant with Oxfam Pan Africa Programme in Kenya.
He holds a BA degree in journalism from the United States International University in Kenya and MSc degree in journalism and science communication from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, the United States, and certifications in Geographical Information Systems from the Kingston University in the United Kingdom and ESRI in Kenya.
