      Lawrence Nzuve has over 10 years of experience in strategic communications and advocacy, with a specialty in science journalism and communication.

      Prior to joining SEI, he worked as a communications and outreach officer with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Africa Office, where he worked with the regional communications and outreach officer in providing the communication needs for the office. Lawrence also worked as a communications and external relations assistant supporting in external communication for the Blue Economy Conference with UNDP in Nairobi, Kenya, an editorial and digital communications officer for the Bureau for External Relations and Advocacy at the UNDP Global Office in New York and a communications assistant with Oxfam Pan Africa Programme in Kenya.

      He holds a BA degree in journalism from the United States International University in Kenya, an MSc degree in journalism and science communication from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in the US and certifications in geographical information systems from Kingston University in UK and ESRI in Kenya.
