Mathilda Englund

Mathilda Englund works as a Research Associate at the Cities, Communities, and Consumption Team within the Division for Societies Climate and Policy Support at SEI Headquarters in Stockholm. She supports projects on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.

In her work, Mathilda studies the intersection of climate change adaptation, social vulnerability, and stakeholder participation and engagement. Her main areas of research include enhancing stakeholder engagement and climate services through improved monitoring, evaluation, and learning. She is skilled in various qualitative research methods, including interviews, focus groups, participatory workshops, policy analysis, and literature reviews. Her regional focus is Sweden and Europe.

Mathilda holds a M.Sc. in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation from Lund University and a B.Sc. in Development Studies from Lund University.
