As one of the world’s leading producers of aircraft engines, Rolls Royce has an intense interest in the potential for offsetting carbon emissions from air travel. It has not yet taken a public position on carbon offsetting.
This paper was intended to help educate the company about the complex field of carbon trading and offsetting and serve as guide for them when forming official public positions on these issues.
