Ehina is an energy systems engineer, passionate about renewable energy research and development, energy systems policy, and greenhouse gas mitigation. In addition to energy modeling, she is interested in how interactions between the built environment and broader biogeochemical systems can be leveraged to mitigate adverse effects of climate change. She primarily explores how modeling energy generation and distribution, as well as its economic viability, can be used to make policy decisions that support a cleaner, more equitable future worldwide.

Ehina joined SEI in 2026 after working in biomass valorization at Carbon Containment Lab and Sesame Sustainability. At Sesame Sustainability, she modeled various thermochemical pathways for converting biomass to sustainable aviation fuel, in addition to the corresponding technoeconomics. Prior to entering industry, Ehina conducted research in the carbon capture, utilization, and storage sector, eventually focusing on wave energy converter-based in-situ carbon sequestration. She graduated from Cornell University, earning an MEng in Mechanical Engineering (2025), and a BS in Environmental Engineering and minor in Sustainable Energy Systems (2024). In her free time, Ehina enjoys ballet, exploring cafes, reading, baking, and kathak – a form of classical North Indian dance.
