Risks related to climate change and disasters are not only a concern for professionals engaged with sustainable development. It is becoming more evident each year that climate change is an emerging security threat, and is in need of multi-level risk governance.

At this event, we will discuss:

  • launching the Climate Risk Preparedness Toolbox
  • what can be done by countries and municipalities to better adapt to climate change and disaster risk
  • an overview of climate change adaptation related training and curriculum, and
  • the future of climate change adaptation and resilience.

Who should attend

Civil protection specialists, climate change adaptation experts, municipality officials, and environmental impact assessment experts can all benefit from this event.

The agenda and more information will be made available in the coming weeks on this page and on the CASCADE project website.
