Sanitation - two sides of the ‘climate change’ coin

It’s crucial to recognize that sanitation is both heavily affected by climate change through damaged infrastructure or failing water supply, while also significantly contributing to greenhouse gas emissions, such as methane from poor sanitation systems. However, most sanitation initiatives don’t comprehensibly plan to mitigate these negative consequences. This presentation will showcase how we can develop more resilient sanitation solutions, while also reducing its carbon footprint.
