Amanda started at SEI as a Research Associate in February 2021, working with the Sustainable Consumption and Production team. She has a background in mathematics, and is working on a number of projects within the group.
She has a keen interest in data science and its application for better informing decision making processes, particularly in social and spatial contexts.
Amanda submitted her PhD, “Generating an Open Geodemographic Classification for Leeds”, at the University of Leeds, where she also gained a Masters in GIS and a BSc in Mathematics.
