Amelinda Lindberg is a Research Fellow at SEI Headquarters – Energy & Industry Transitions Team – Global Agendas, Climate & Systems Division.
Her research centers around the climate issues and the transition away from oil and gas, as well as the decarbonization of heavy industry as part of the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT) Secretariat.
Amelinda has more than 15 years of professional experience working as a team leader, a researcher, an engineer, a project manager, and an analyst within the oil, energy, and automotive sectors.
Amelinda holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Urban Development from University of Oxford. Her dissertation examined the theoretical frameworks on water governance and the importance of institutional legitimacy in successful implementation of water policy in Singapore. In the dissertation, Amelinda explored the unique character of Singapore’s top-down governance framework, the role of citizen’s conformity, and how these benefitted Singapore in the implementation of water policy.
Amelinda also holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science from Chalmers University of Technology.
