Connie joined SEI at the start of 2020 after completing a four-month internship with the York centre at the end of 2019. Working with Lisa Emberson (previously centre director, now based in the Environment and Geography Department at York) she is contributing towards various projects including: investigating the potential impacts of a large-scale coal mine in Colombia; conducting DO3SE model runs to estimate the effects of Ozone on vegetation; and analysing international datasets to assess the extent and impact of manufacturing industries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
Prior to her internship at SEI, she obtained an MSc in Zoology from the University of Sheffield.
