      Frida Lager is a Research Associate at SEI Headquarters – Climate, Energy and Society Unit focused on transboundary effects of climate change and climate change adaptation. She is currently involved in research on transboundary risk for Sweden via trade within the MISTRA Geopolitics programme. Frida also works with the Adaptation Without Borders Initiative (AWBI) and CASCADES (CAScading Climate risks: towards Adaptive and resilient European Societies).

      Frida’s professional background is as a consultant in physical planning, environmental and social impact analysis, complex systems analysis, risk assessment and management, pollution and water security.

      She holds a MSc in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from Stockholm Resilience Centre and a BSc in Human Geography and Environmental Science form the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg.
