Jailson Soares

Jailson Soares works at SEI Headquarters as Data Scientist – Trase Team, Global Agendas, Climate and Systems Division.

He supports the mapping of supply chains and analyzes forest-risk exposure in global commodity chains by integrating multiple data sources—land use and land cover, trade data, and company commitments.

Before joining SEI, Jailson worked at IMAZON, where he was part of the MapBiomas network, contributing to the mapping of land use and land cover across Brazil.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the State University of Pará (BSc., 2016).
