Jessica Tana is the Communications Manager at SEI Asia.
Joining the team in May 2022, Jessica ensures the effectiveness of SEI’s internal and external communications in Asia. She provides strategic and operational communications support for the Centre’s research and policy engagement work and is responsible for the enhanced visibility of the Centre in the region through events, social media and regional media outreach. Jessica produces strategic communications planning for the Centre Clusters including key projects on climate, disaster risk reduction and urban well-being, and leads communications for SEI Asia’s Strategic Collaborative Fund (SCF2).
Jessica is interested in human interest stories that raise questions, challenge assumptions and inspire action. She has more than ten years of experience in media and communications for development having previously worked in public information with the United Nations migration agency in Libya and as a journalist in Asia and Australia.
Jessica has a degree in English Literature and a Post Graduate Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
