Julie worked at SEI York from 2007 until 2012. Her PhD research was concerned with the interface between science and policy. She focused on air pollution and biodiversity, in Europe and the UK.
Julie’s research interests lie in understanding the co-production of science and policy process and she is approaching this using Social Network Analysis. She completed an MA in Sociology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) and then an MA in Criminology at the Université de Liège (Belgium), where she then worked as a researcher.
