Kaniknart Sutthirak joined SEI, Asia in September 2022 as an HR Specialist. Her role is to lead the development of HR processes in the Asia Centre. She has over 14 years of experience in Human Resources Management at regional and national levels, and intensive experience in the development sector, focusing on conservation.
Prior to joining SEI, Asia, Kaniknart worked as an HR Business Partner for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) where she managed the Asia Regional Office and the assigned countries: Lao PDR, Myanmar, Maldives, Seychelles and Indonesia. Her role was to provide strategic guidance and advice on the policies and HR processes to managerial, non-managerial staff and HR practitioners at the regional and country-office level. Kaniknart commenced her HR career path at the British Council, Thailand and then moved to WWF Thailand where she started her journey in conservation organizations.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources and Organization Management and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Thammasat University, Thailand. She held the SHRM-CP and is a professional member of Society for Human Resource Management.
