Katherine is an Associate Scientist with SEI US, working with the Sustainable Bioenergy and Development program.
Katherine works on modeling land-use and cover change linked to fuelwood and charcoal demand, as well as supports database development for an energy transitions project funded by the Clean Cooking Alliance.
Prior to SEI, Katherine worked with the Data Management Group within the Research Department at AIR Worldwide. From this job and her education at Clark University, she has gained research and field experience with GIS, remote sensing, data management, web-scraping, and environmental impacts. In her free time, she enjoys getting outside: hiking in the mountains or playing ultimate frisbee.
