Labisha Uprety joined SEI Asia as a Research Fellow in May 2026. Labisha works with the ICCAP team to lead the Gender-Transformative Pilot and co-design GESI capacity strengthening across the project.
Before joining SEI Asia, Labisha worked at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and the International Water Management Institute, both in Nepal, and overseeing these organizations’ work in climate governance and inclusion.
Labisha holds two graduate degrees, one in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, and another in Education Policy from the Autonomous University in Barcelona. Her undergraduate degree was in Development Studies from Kathmandu University.
