Naurin graduated from The University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in Accounting, Business and Financial Management in 2010 and went on to complete her ACCA qualification in October 2020.

Naurin joined the University of York in February 2020 as a Finance and Research Support Administrator, assisting with the day to day finances for the Centre of Health Economics and has recently been promoted to an Accountant role.

In her free time, Naurin volunteers for the local Scouts group and Key.
