Sally Williams is an Associate Scientist with the SEI US Water Team, based in Somerville, MA.
At SEI, Sally has worked on numerous projects, primarily focused on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. Currently, she is a member of the research team focused on the USAID Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment (WAVE) project, as well as the Urban Resilience by Building partnerships and Applying New evidence in WASH – or URBAN WASH initiative.
In addition to her work at SEI, Sally has worked in technology consulting and conducted research focused on agricultural supply chain optimization in international contexts. She has worked with several FoodTech start-ups focused on tackling global food waste, with a focus on supply chain inefficiency disruption. Sally holds a M.S. in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and plans to begin her PhD studies in the spring of 2023.
