SEI was ranked as the world’s most influential think thank on environmental policy in the 2016 Global Go To Think Tank Index.
With our nine offices in six countries with more than 200 employees from over 50 countries and a growing funding base, SEI demonstrates that, in turbulent times, diversity is a strength in its own right: alongside deeper collaboration with our partners, it is central to our development as an organization.
The report gives a full account of the finances of the SEI Foundation and our funders, and outlines how we’ve worked with the three core areas of our work: research, capacity building, and policy engagement.
It also provides key facts and figures and selected stories on how we made an impact on policy and practice in 2016.
