Kartlegging av klimatilpasningsarbeid i utvalgte europeiske land

Rapporten presenterer resultatene fra en kartlegging av klimatilpasningsarbeidet i fem utvalgte land: Finland, Tyskland, Storbritannia, Sverige og Østerrike, etter oppdrag fra Miljødirektoratet. Kartleggingen er basert på dokumentanalyse og informantintervju.

Alle fem landene har arbeidet systematisk med deres klimatilpasningsarbeid siden tidlig 2000-talle. Internasjonal forskning på klimatilpasning og andre måter å frembringe og utveksle erfaringer med denne delen av klimaarbeidet har vært økende i denne perioden. Likevel har de fem landene utviklet ulik struktur og prosess når det gjelder både planlegging, utførelse og evaluering.

Mapping of climate adaptation work in selected European countries

The report presents the results from a study of the climate change adaptation work in five selected countries: Finland, Germany, the UK, Sweden, and Austria, commissioned by the Norwegian Environment Agency. The mapping is based on document analysis and informant interviews.

All five countries have worked systematically with their climate change adaptation efforts since early 2000. International research on climate change adaptation and other ways of generating and exchanging experiences with this part of the climate work has increased during this period. Nevertheless, the five countries have developed different structures and processes when it comes to planning, executing, and evaluating climate change adaptation policies.

The study sets out to provide a better understanding of what governance structures, policy frameworks, strategies and measures are in place across these five European countries to monitor and manage climate risks and implement adaptation measures. The study also examines the focus and scope of climate risk assessments across these countries, as well as the different systems in place for assessing, reporting and evaluating adaptation across national and sub-national levels.
