Manna Rahman

Manna joined SEI Asia in January 2025 as a Research Fellow: Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MREAL), working with the SEI team to lead the MREAL activities.

Manna is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, Planning, and Research professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. Before joining SEI Asia, Manna worked at the Pacific Community (SPC) based in Fiji as a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Monitoring and Evaluation System for projects and programmes across SPC implementation countries. Before this, he held positions such as Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PME) Programme Officer at the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) in Bangkok. He also worked as a  Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Manager at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Manager (Monitoring & Evaluation) at the BRAC Migration Programme, and Programme Coordinator (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) at HelpAge International in Bangladesh.

Manna holds two master’s degrees: a Master’s in Social Science (M.S.S) specializing in Political Science from the University of Dhaka, and a Master’s in Development Studies (M.D.S) from North-South University, Bangladesh. He also earned a Bachelor’s in Social Science (B.S.S) in Political Science from the University of Dhaka.
