The UN Biodiversity Conference will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 19 to 30 October, with many important items on the agenda. Shortly afterwards, we will host an online post-match event to discuss the outcomes with negotiators, researchers, the private sector, civil society and representatives from Indigenous Peoples and youth organizations.
Don’t miss this opportunity to ask questions and discuss what lies ahead after COP17. What will the Yerevan Pathway mean? How will the COP17 decisions impact biodiversity financing? Where are the most significant implementation gaps? Did the current geopolitical tensions influence negotiations? How were Indigenous People’s perspectives reflected? Which role did science play?
The event is a collaboration between SEI, Focali, BECC at Lund University and Centre for Climate Science and Policy Research, CSPR, Linköping University.
