Survey: How can young people be better engaged in health and climate action in Africa and Asia?

Young people have the right to be fully engaged in the decision-making on, and responses to, the key health and climate-related challenges of our time. How we respond to climate change today will affect young people for decades to come, particularly those across Africa and Asia.

Share your views on how to best engage young people in effective health and climate action in Africa and Asia by taking the survey. Deadline is 30 April 2021.

SEI, Save the Children and Wellcome are undertaking a study on the engagement of young people in health and climate action in Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Over the next few months, we will consult actors and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the current practices, strategies and initiatives designed to engage young people aged 10-24. We want to understand how to better include young people in the health and climate sectors.

We have launched an online survey to capture the views, experiences and interests of stakeholders in climate change and public health sectors, as well as those working to enhance the engagement of young people in governance and decision-making processes.

We want to hear from youth leaders, decision-makers, scientists, practitioners, businesses, donors, media professionals and other actors engaged in these issues at any level in our six focus countries.

Your response will help us to analyze the current landscape and identify strategies to ensure the meaningful future engagement of young people, a crucial step in creating pathways out of the world’s current climate and health crises.

Thank you for your participation.
