SEI, ahead of the upcoming procurement of a Team Lead in the field of agriculture (farm-to-fork) within the Green Agenda for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine project, invites potential suppliers to send requests for Information (RFI)

The project ‘Green Agenda for Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia’ (GA GUMA) brings together different government actors from the target countries: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, along with the SEI/international and national experts to deliver policy changes, make economies greener, improve environmental governance, stimulate investment, uptake innovative technologies, and create green jobs.
Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine are on the transition path where they need to transform into fair and prosperous societies with resource-efficient, modern, circular, and competitive economies, where environmental and climate actions are prioritized, and natural resources are used sustainably.
All countries cooperate closely with the European Union (EU) through different cooperation/association agreements and frameworks, such as the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and the Association/Partnership and Cooperation Agreements. In addition, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine aspire to become part of the EU, and recently, Moldova and Ukraine have been granted EU candidate status. Meeting EU membership requirements and international commitments will require transitioning to more modern, sustainable economies. All mentioned countries will need to strengthen the accountability of their institutions, the rule of law, democracy, and security, promote resilient, fair, and inclusive societies, accelerate the EU approximation process, and align their national laws, rules, and procedures with the EU’s, which requires close integration and alignment with the European Green Deal (EGD).

The teams will comprise of team lead, international and national experts, and these teams will lead the development of the above-mentioned project outputs in their respective areas.
General roles of the Farm to Fork team:
The general responsibilities include:
The team lead will work closely with national and international experts within the farm-to-fork team.
The duration of the project (implementation phase) is from July 2023 to March 2026.
Please note that this does not necessarily imply a team lead’s involvement for the whole period of time.
