SEI’s Executive Director (ED), Eeva Primmer, leads and delegates all work at SEI. The ED supervises all senior management functions and is thus responsible for developing, planning and organizing work so that research, administration, financial management and communications are performed with quality, accountability and efficiency.
The ED is responsible for the daily management in accordance with instructions and guidelines from the Board and according to Swedish law. The ED is responsible for implementing and following up on decisions of the Board. Decisions are taken in meetings with the Executive Team and the Global Management Committee.
The executive leadership focuses on global strategy development and implementation, driving impact through research excellence and engagement, building a culture of quality in delivery, accountability, teamwork and trust, recognizing and leveraging diversity, addressing organizational risk, and ensuring that strategic goals and priorities are in sync with continual growth and raised ambition levels.
