The UN Biodiversity Conference will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 19 to 30 October, with many important items on the agenda. Shortly afterwards, on 5 November, we will host an online post-match event to discuss the outcomes with negotiators, researchers and representatives of the private sector, civil society, Indigenous Peoples and youth organizations.
Join us to ask questions and discuss what lies ahead after COP17. What will the Yerevan Pathway mean? How will the COP17 decisions affect biodiversity financing? Where are the most significant implementation gaps? Did current geopolitical tensions influence negotiations? How were Indigenous Peoples’ perspectives reflected? What role did science play?
The event is a collaboration between SEI, Focali, BECC at Lund University and Centre for Climate Science and Policy Research, CSPR, Linköping University.
This online webinar takes place on Thursday 5 November 2026, 14:00–15:30 CET. To join, please register via BECC.
