The event will address how LeadIT 2.0 will accelerate a just and equitable industry transition through partnerships, technology co-development, and financial and technical assistance focused on industry decarbonization for emerging and developing economies.

The Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT), launched at the UN Climate Action Summit in 2019 by the Governments of India and Sweden, was established to build momentum for industry transition up until the Global Stocktake in 2023.
