Regional consultation workshop: building water sector youth leadership network in the Lancang-Mekong Region

This first regional consultation workshop will provide the opportunity for the youth leaders from six Mekong-Lancang Countries to build the partnership and exchange knowledge with those who are involved in the existing youth networks/programs working on water issues in the region.

Objectives:

To present the preliminary findings from the review of existing youth networks/initiatives, which will be useful for future design of water sector youth leadership network in the region.

To strengthen partnership among the youth leaders from the MLC countries for future cooperation.

To enhance the understanding on the opportunities and challenges on water resource cooperation by learning from the past MLC transboundary project.

To enhance relevant capacity of the youth leaders in the areas of MLC Water Resources Cooperation, communications, planning through multi-country teamwork.
