Gregor Vulturius is a Research Fellow at SEI Headquarters. He joined SEI in January 2013.
Gregor is in charge of operations and engagement of the Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre. He is also leading SEI’s EU policy engagement.
Gregor’s research focuses on sustainable finance, climate change, disaster risk management, science communication, corporate sustainability, risk transfer solutions and the EU’s Environmental, Finance and Industrial Policy.
His work has contributed to the SENDAI Framework on Disaster Risk Reduction of the UNISDR and more than 15 research projects on climate change adaptation in the Swedish forest sector, renewable energy finance in India, integrated water and electricity planning for climate mitigation and adaptation in West Africa and corporate action to deliver on the sustainable development goals.
Gregor is also member of the Expert Network on Second Opinion on Green Bonds. He is particularly interested in helping individuals, communities, corporations and institutions build resilience against climate impacts and promote social and economic development.
Gregor holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Edinburgh, a Master in Spatial Planning and Development and a Bachelor in Sociology.
