      Jenny joined SEI Asia in August 2019 as a Research Associate for the Gender, Environment, and Development research theme.

      Jenny’s background is in sociology and holds a broad interest in the interrelationships between environmental justice, gender, and decolonization. Her research at SEI covers gender and social equity issues across various environmental topics, including climate change, disasters, energy transitions, and environmental activism. She holds a Masters degree (distinction) in Sociology and Global Change from the University of Edinburgh.

      Previously, Jenny worked as an Academic Program Assistant for the Gender and Sexuality Programme at a non-profit study abroad foundation in Copenhagen, Denmark.
